Write documents

glu reads Markdown and HTML. A Markdown file becomes HTML first, so both take the same path from there on, and what you learn about one holds for the other. The difference is how you say it: Markdown has frontmatter, HTML has the <head>.

  • Markdown mode covers the frontmatter, the Markdown syntax glu understands and its optional extensions.
  • HTML mode covers what is special about HTML input.
  • Styling with CSS covers the default stylesheet, your own stylesheets, page setup, margin boxes, page counters and cross references.
  • Math covers TeX in Markdown, MathML in HTML and the font both need.
  • Standards covers PDF/UA, PDF/A, attachments and e-invoices such as ZUGFeRD.
